LIVE! Election Day at the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site is a free, family-friendly program about civics and the political process in the United States. Visitors meet the Harrison family as they wait for results from the 1888 presidential election and wonder whether General Harrison is ready to become president, and what his wife, Caroline, thinks of the more than 80 speeches he gave to more than 80,000 people from the family’s front porch.
First-floor tours start on the hour from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reservations are encouraged, and walk-ins are welcome as space allows.
