Little Ambassador Etiqutte Seminar (ages 5 - 7)

The Etiquette and Leadership Institute of Indiana’s (ELII) “Little Ambassadors” (LA) (ages 5 – 7) Etiquette Seminar is coming to Historic Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park INN on Saturday, October 1, 2022 (10:15 – 11:45 AM). In this seminar, your child will be introduced to the basic rules of etiquette and manners. In addition to setting the dining table (three-course meal), we will reinforce what goes on their right and left sides while dining.

Furthermore, each student will have a great experience learning to use their Utensils (fork, spoon, knife), China (plates, bowls), and Glassware. As they meet new friends, they will learn to introduce themselves using the Eight Ingredients of an Introduction. Finally, we will test their understanding and usage of those elusive power words; please, thank you, you’re welcome, and more.

We’ve learned that the rules of etiquette and manners are essential life skills for all ages. Thus, the foundation of understanding the rules of etiquette and applying good manners are vital to developing good leadership skills in young people, not only for today but also for the future.

10:45 – 10:55: Understanding Power words
10:55 – 11:15: How to make an Introduction (using the 8 Ingredients of an Introduction)
11:15 – 11:40: ABCs of Table Manners (setting table for a three-course meal)
11:40 – 11:45: Completion Certificate
