Labor Day weekend at the farm combines apple picking, flower cutting, outdoor play and seasonal food, with Flower Days at the Farm happening at the same time. Families can wander through a cut-flower area with more than 10,000 plants and create their own bouquet, with jar-and-flower packages ranging from about $10 to $45.
The FarmYard includes a corn pit, wagon ride, corn maze, outdoor games and other activities. Admission is $10 per child or adult, with children age 1 and younger admitted free. Families can also pick apples in the orchard using $8, $16 or $25 bags, with varieties depending on what is ripe during the visit.
Food and treats are available throughout the farm, including meals from The Grill, apple cider slushies, donuts, caramel apples and fudge from the Sweet Shop. The Farm Store carries pre-picked apples, fresh cider, locally made products and other farm favorites. Flower Days specials are also available during the holiday weekend.
