The Johnson County Fair has been a Franklin tradition for more than 183 years. First held in 1838 at Martin Place, the fair later moved to its current fairgrounds near State Road 144 and U.S. 31 after the county purchased the property in 1888.
Today, the fair continues in the heart of Franklin, carrying on a long-running community tradition in Johnson County.
