Kids Explore Robotics opens its Carmel STEM center for free birthday party demo tours, giving families a preview of its robotics parties for kids ages 4 and up. During the 30-minute visit, kids can see the center’s robots up close, get a hands-on look at how motors, sensors and mechanisms make them work and see the Wind-Powered Speed Racer activity in action, where partygoers decorate their own racers and race them against friends.
The tour also stops in the Robotics Zone, Design Lab and Tinker Zone and covers what each birthday package includes, with activities for kids of different ages and experience levels. No robotics experience is needed. Tours start every 30 minutes, so families can pick any half-hour slot.
The center’s two-hour parties include a party room, a host, robotics decorations and a take-home robot for every child, and families are welcome to bring their own cake, pizza and treats.
