Lark Ranch in Greenfield, about 20 minutes east of Indianapolis, packs its fall season with activities included in admission: a mile-long train ride, a hayride, a corn maze, U-pick patch access, Highland cows and an animal trail, bounce pillows, a ball zone, carnival rides, a carousel, kiddie rides, a barrel train, pedal carts, a corn pit, bull roping and playsets.
Food, gem mining, pony rides and the apple cannon cost extra. Apple cider doughnuts, apple cider slushies and fair-food vendors are on site, and outside food and drinks are not allowed. Leashed, well-mannered dogs are welcome, and parking is free.
Admission is $17 on September dates, Fridays and Monday, Oct. 12, and $22 on October Saturdays and Sundays; kids 2 and under are free. Active military members get in free and veterans pay half price with ID at the gate. Special days include Homeschool Days on Oct. 9 and 16, Colts Fall Fest on Oct. 24, Healthcare Workers and First Responders Day on Oct. 31 and DÃa de Muertos on Nov. 1.
