Kelsay Farms in Whiteland celebrates its 20th fall season with a 7-acre corn maze and scavenger hunt, the Moo Choo cow train, a jump pad, Bale Mountain, a corn crib, the Right Turn Only maze, Hop Dots, cornhole and a straw play area. Farm animals include calves, chickens, goats, sheep, rabbits, pigs, ducks and donkeys, and visitors can bring flashlights to try the maze after dark.
The farm is open weekends, plus weekdays from noon to 6 p.m. during fall break, Oct. 5 through 16. Pumpkins, gourds, milkshakes, grilled cheese and Country Store gifts are sold separately; there is no pick-your-own patch and no hayride.
Special days include Howl at the Moon on Friday, Oct. 2, the only night dogs are allowed (with a separate dog ticket); Teacher Appreciation Day on Tuesday, Oct. 13, when teachers get in free with a valid teaching ID; and Trick or Treat in the corn maze on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 4 to 6 p.m. Pets are not allowed on other days, and alcohol is not permitted.
