Creating On Canvas: Owl Gazing at the Moon

Join the Carmel Library on  November 21 to paint an owl silhouette against a bright full moon at twilight. Registration is required.

Join the library to capture the beauty of a fall evening. In this fun program, we’ll guide you step-by-step in painting a silhouette of an owl gazing at the moon. In between steps, while the background is drying, we’ll take a break and enjoy a small snack.

Beginners are most welcome—no experience is necessary. We’ll be using permanent, acrylic paints, so please wear clothes that can get stained, just in case.

Registration begins November 14 for November 21’s program. Participants must in grades 3–5, and each child participating needs to register separately. We ask that caregivers remain on the premises at the Main Library during the program.
