Christmas Eve Luminaries close out Hometown Christmas, a monthlong celebration in Pendleton’s Falls Park organized by volunteers with the nonprofit Friends of Falls Park. On Christmas Eve, luminaries glow throughout the park, and families can drive through to see them for as long as the candles burn.
All December, a free drive-thru holiday light display with trees and larger installations sponsored by local businesses and families decorates the park. Cocoa and Cookies gatherings at the park gazebo on select Saturdays offer free hot chocolate, cookies and holiday reindeer games.
