Central Indiana Dance Ensemble presents The Nutcracker at the STAR Bank Performing Arts Center at Zionsville High School. The full-length ballet follows Clara as her Nutcracker Prince sweeps her away to the Land of Sweets, with waltzing flowers, swirling snowflakes and a battle between toy soldiers and mice, all set to Tchaikovsky’s score.
Both 2 p.m. matinees are relaxed performances, where patrons are free to talk quietly and leave their seats if needed. A Sugar Plum Fairy Dessert Party is held at 12:30 p.m. before each matinee and is ticketed separately.
