Celebration Crossing opens for the season at the Indiana State Museum with Santa’s arrival by helicopter on the front lawn at 10:30 a.m., cheered on by his dancing elves, Tinsel Toes. Inside, Santa and Mrs. Claus kick off the season with a DJ Jolly Jason dance party, and Santa visits with kids through the afternoon, with photo packages available.
The day also includes live music, appearances by “extra cool scientist” Dr. Perma Frost, a festive fashion show where kids walk the red carpet, games and activities, and rides on the Snowfall Express. Opening day is included with museum admission, which comes with $4 parking validation, and Celebration Crossing continues daily through Jan. 3, 2027.
