Santa arrives in a memorable way, landing by helicopter on the museum’s front lawn at 10:30 a.m. He and Mrs. Claus then head to the Great Hall to press the Holiday Magic Button and light the 92 County Tree, marking the start of the season. Families can expect a lively atmosphere with live music, games, and hands-on activities throughout the day. Around the museum, screens play “Elf News” with updates on Santa’s arrival, snowball sports, and cookie recipes.
Kids can visit with Santa, share wish lists, and snap a relaxed photo while parents take in the glow of the tree and the sound of holiday music. The Snowfall Express offers a gentle train ride through a winter scene for younger riders and their siblings. This event suits families with children of all ages who enjoy a mix of spectacle and simple traditions. The museum hosts the festivities, with the helicopter arrival on the lawn and activities centered in the Great Hall.
