Art & Soul celebrates empowerment through the arts and recognizes over 100 local African American artists. In February 2022, the Arts Council of Indianapolis will host the 26th annual Art & Soul at the Artsgarden celebration. The 2022 Theme is: “Black Health & Wellness.”
Each year, four artists are chosen to be Featured Artists throughout the month. The selection committee are leaders from Asante Art Institute, FLAVA FRESH !, IIbada Dance Company, and Indy Jazz Fest. In addition to the Black History Month spotlight, the Featured Artists receive year-long career development support. Are you interested in being an Art & Soul Featured Artist?
