DIY: Homemade Gummy Bears

My daughter loves these tasty treats! And, well, so do I.

Try these homemade gummy bears – they’re sure to be a crowd pleaser. All you need is your favorite package of Jell-O, a gummy bear mold, and unflavored gelatin. Easy as pie… or easy as gummy bears!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of Jell-O
  • 1 tablespoon of gelatin
  • ½ cup of water
  • Gummy bear molds

You can purchase the gummy bear molds on Amazon, but I purchased mine from Ms. B’s Sweet Supplies located in Speedway. Always supporting local when possible!

Directions:

On low heat, pour ½ cup of water into a sauce pan. Add in the package of Jell-O and one tablespoon of gelatin. Mix until Jell-O & gelatin dissolves, then remove from the heat.

Using the dropper, add the mixture into the mold. Refrigerate for about 30 mins. If gummy bears prove difficult to remove from the mold, place back into the fridge for a few more minutes for them to solidify more.

Store in an airtight container or storage bag in your fridge for up to one week, if they last that long!
