Discover Spring Blooms at the IMA

WHAT: Soak up the weekend weather at the IMA as new blooms emerge around campus as part of Spring Blooms: Celebration of Color.

Bring the whole family out for a spring adventure. Snap a picture in the blooming gardens in front of the historic Lilly House or in the IMA’s new pop-up garden, Alice’s Garden, on the former parking lot of the Madeline F. Elder Greenhouse. These gardens are filled with vibrant color from over 65,000 tulips, nearly 8,000 hyacinths and more than 14,000 daffodils. Due to staggered plantings throughout the fall and winter months, this blooming display is growing more and more every day.

Take in the scenery and sip on a drink in the new family-friendly Beer Garden, located just outside the Elder Greenhouse. Enjoy the gardens during our regular museum hours, as well as newly expanded hours in the gardens and Beer Garden on Thursday through Saturday evenings until 9 p.m. Members can also enjoy member-only hours on Saturday mornings from 9– 11 a.m.
