Join the Indianapolis Cultural Trail and Circle City Curling Club at the scenic Downtown Canal to learn about and try the sport of curling.
Learn to Curl with Instructors
What: Instructors from the Circle City Curling Club will be on hand on Sundays between 1-3 p.m. to teach visitors all about this popular winter sport. This drop-in clinic will teach you the basics skills of curling, including how to deliver the stone, scoring and strategy. Play a match or two on Indianapolis’ only synthetic ice curling rinks.
Where: Downtown Canal, located in Vermont St. Plaza West, just in front of Homewood Suites by Hilton Downtown IUPUI (414 W. Vermont St.) and south of the American College of Sports Medicine Fitness Garden.
Date: Every Sunday, through March 3, 2024

Price: Learn to Curl clinics are FREE and open to the public.
Ages: All ages are encouraged to participate.
Parking: Nearby street parking is located on Senate Ave., Indiana Ave., New York St., and Ohio St. and is FREE on Sundays.

What: Open curling hours vary depending on staffing, weather and daylight, but stones and rinks are FREE and open to the public to enjoy on a first come basis through March 3, 2024.
