22 days.
Only 22 days until the kids are up at 5:30 in the morning. Honestly, 5:00 may be more realistic.
Only 22 days until they are jumping on top of their parents (who probably just went to bed a few of hours ago.)
Only 22 days until they are loudly screaming, “Wake up! Wake up! Santa came! It’s Christmas!!” (as if somehow it was possible to miss this.)
Only 22 days until they are pulling on their parents’ every limb until they are forced out of bed in a sleepless stupor with two things on their mind, “How much sleep did I really get last night?” and “Coffee. Coffee. Must. Have. Coffee.”
Only 22 days until the start of one of the most anticipated days of the year.
22 days.
22 fabulous days of joyful, frantic, beautiful holiday bliss.
If you are anything like me, you will try to cram in as much as humanly possible in the days leading up to THE day. All of this running from here to there can be a bit exhausting and expensive.
For those of you who are weary (and scared to look at your checkbook), but don’t want to waste an opportunity to do something festive –Â I have the perfect solution.
Load your family into the car and take a drive to Reynold’s Farm Equipment, Inc. to see an absolutely incredible FREE light display. You will be wide-eyed and grinning from ear-to-ear with a heart full of Christmas joy the entire time.
It really is a sight to behold.
They have not forgotten a thing. From Santa jumping into the chimney, to the Abominable Snowman, to the Grinch and the Whos down in Whoville. They are all there.
There are football players, hockey players on ice and race cars – to name a few more.
You will see Noah’s Ark, a nativity scene and a 9-11 tribute. And did I mention the moving train?!  This only skims the surface.
Don’t take my word for it. Head over there and check it out for yourself. It will not disappoint. And let me say this again…..it’s FREE! You have 22 days.
