Celebrate Father’s Day at the IMA

Still looking for the perfect way to celebrate with dad for Father’s Day? Head over to the Indianapolis Museum of Art to tee off at our brand new mini golf course or enjoy a beer in the IMA Beer Garden, recently revamped for the summer season.

Searching for a special gift for dad? Show your appreciation and stop by the Museum Store or the Gallery Shop to pick up Mini Golf gear, an Audubon print, a one-of-a-kind mug, a special tie or gardening hats and tools.

Bring dad out for some friendly competition all weekend long at the return of IMA’s artist-designed Mini Golf at the IMA! This year’s one-of-a-kind course features brand new holes, along with some familiar favorites, inspired by the natural world. Come putt past lions, navigate through glaciers and learn about honey bees. The course is included with general admission, and IMA Members play free.

Soak up the scenery and sip on a drink in the family-friendly Beer Garden. Take advantage of the newly extended Beer Garden, located just outside the Elder Greenhouse. The new menu features a wider selection of beverages as well as new snacks such as a beef frank and a sharable charcuterie board. Go with dad to grab a brew during regular museum hours.

Inside the galleries explore Audubon: Drawn to Nature, an exhibition featuring the lifelike drawings by John James Audubon. Bring the whole family to discover and learn more about birds from different regional areas. Guests can expand their Audubon experience with observation guide books and compare their wingspans to those of popular species. The adventure continues outdoors with selfie stations of replica birds perched on benches, a lifelike nest in Alice’s Garden and bird viewing stations.
