Use all this time at-home time to get creative!
The Indianapolis Art Center is one of the city’s best places for art classes and activities for people of all ages. Even though we’re all stuck at home right now, our friends at the Art Center want to make sure your family still has the resources and tools to get creative.
Give these creative ideas a try and share your creations on social media with the hashtag #YourArtYourWay!
Art Projects for Everyone
Try an Earth Day project (whether it’s still Earth Day or not!), toilet paper roll crafts and more.
Working with Alternative Materials
Don’t have paint or clay at home? No worries! Use basic household items, like coffee and fruit, to create your own paint. Plus give the scented, no cook play dough a shot!
Taking Creativity Outdoors
Warm weather is coming – get outside! If you can make it over to the Art Center, head to the ArtsPark to take a stab at their sculpture scavenger hunt (parents, here’s the answer key). Or create one to have in your own backyard!
Utilizing Found Objects
The Art Center encourages you to be resourceful and use what you’ve already got!
Drawing Activities
Try the Surrealist Drawing Game, make your very own zine, follow drawing prompts and more!
