White River Celebration
September 12, 8 a.m.- 9 p.m.
White River & Logan St. Bridge, Noblesville

Join Noblesville Main Street and Nickel Plate Arts for this annual celebration of the White River Clean-up. Highlights include Fun in the River, Bridge Fair, 1M$ Duck Race, performances by local band Alea, and local artists and activities sponsored by Nickel Plate Arts.

Festival of Machines
September 12-13, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Conner Prairie, Fishers

This festival celebrates celebrate Indiana’s rich history of designing, building and innovating transportation. Featuring concours-level cars, vintage aircraft, boats, motorcycles, antique steam engines, race cars and more, the Festival of Machines has something for everyone in the family to enjoy! Test drive a soapbox derby car, build your own fizzy rocket dragster, or cheer along the tractor parade. Included with general admission.

Barktember
September 12, noon-3 p.m.
The Waterpark at the Monon Community Center

Bring your four-legged friend for a dip at The Waterpark and support the Humane Society for Hamilton County! Dog vendors, live music, open swim, dock-diving, and socializing make this event fun for dogs and their families. All owners must sign a liability waiver found on our website and available at the event.

 Actors Theatre of Indiana presents The Fantaskticks

Actors Theatre of Indiana Presents The Fantasticks,a timeless romantic tale of young lovers who become disillusioned, only to discover a more mature, meaningful love. Punctuated by a bountiful series of catchy, memorable songs such as “Try to Remember” and “Soon It’s Gonna Rain”, audiences will find themselves humming along whether they are revisiting the show or discovering it for the first time. Community Concert and 40th Anniversary Celebration

The Center for the Performing Arts, Carmel

Join the Carmel Symphony Orchestra for a special one-hour performance of “Greatest Hits” – including pianist Di Wu and guest conductor Mayor James Brainard.

Voices from the Past Living History Walk
September 11-12
Downtown Westfield

Did you know Westfield, IN was involved in the Underground Railroad? Find out more about Westfield’s settlers at Voices from the Past 2015! Join us on a 90 min a Living History Walk in which a tour guide will lead you through downtown Westfield and teach you about our city’s most historic locations. Along the walk, you will meet notable people from Westfield’s past (played by actors from Westfield Playhouse), learn their stories and interact with them! It’s a fun and educational event for people of all ages!

Adults: $10
Students $5
Kids 12 & under are free!

The City of Carmel Annual Mooncake Festival
September 12, 7-9:00 p.m.
Carmel Arts & Design District

Enjoy music, dancing and Mooncakes at the Carmel-Xiangyang Sister City Chinese Mooncake Festival, presented by Carmel-Xiangyang Sister City Committee and IU Health North Hospital. The event is free to attend.
