Calling all book owners! The IMA needs you.

Calling all unused and dust-covered books! {Or rather their owners. }

The Indianapolis Museum Of Art has put a call out for help with their upcoming art installation.

In partnership with Indy Reads Books, the IMA will host a community book drive to gather books for a large-scale hanging book installation that will debut at the Museum this fall. The installation – called False Ceiling- Indianapolis – is the work of British sculptor Richard Wentworth and will be on display in the Efroymson Family Entrance Pavilion beginning September 25th.
What is needed?

Both hardback and paperback books are welcome. No magazines or books with damp pages or bugs will be accepted.

How do you get them to the IMA? 

All books must be dropped off at the collection box at the IMA or at IndyReads Books on Mass Ave. Book donations are being accepted now-Sept 8th and collection boxes are located at:
