Rustic Driving Range and Miniature Golf

5955 Terrace Ave., Indianapolis

This is truly miniature golf, not putt putt. The holes are a bit longer than the average miniature golf course, but many people say that it is still just as accessible for all ages. Located on the east side of Indianapolis, Rustic is definitely the oldest mini-golf course in the area. It’s been a part of the community for more than 100 years! There are 27 holes on this course, and it is a completely natural environment — no turf. If you happen to fall in love with the course, they host a men’s and women’s summer league, which includes weekly play for $50.

Glowgolf @ Circle Center Mall

49 W. Maryland St., Indianapolis

Located on Level 2 of Circle Center Mall, the indoor course at Glowgolf literally glows in the dark! The walls are decorated in a neon jungle theme, and it’s a cool way to spend a hot summer afternoon. Along with glow-in-the-dark mini golf, visitors can also try to escape  a laser maze.

Pete and Alice Dye Golf Experience at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis

3000 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis

The mini golf course at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis is just one of 12 sports experiences to try out at Riley Children’s Health Sports Legends Experience. There are four 9-hole courses, which pay tribute to the design history of Indiana natives, Pete and Alice Dye. Every hole is a replica of their most famous designs from around the world. There is a course for each level of golfer — even a toddler course!

Indy’s newest mini golf establishment is located in Westfield. As far as Indy mini golf goes, Birdies is definitely the most high-end. It includes two 18-hole courses with a mountain theme.
