What makes Girl Scouts of Central Indiana unique?

Summer Camp 2025 is just around the corner! We are super excited to introduce several new camp sessions and continue the tradition of camp favorites too.

And guess what? You don't need to be a Girl Scout to attend camp!

We can't wait for girls to go to camp and enjoy the great outdoors, go swimming, hike, ride horses, and throw a hatchet! To make new friends and learn more about themselves than they ever thought possible.

Families can go to camp too! They will spent time off the grid and around the campfire. They will be able to grab some much needed time together.

We are looking forward to sharing in all your new adventures and excited for Summer 2025. We hope you plan to join us at our beautiful camps!

What is the typical daily schedule at Girl Scouts of Central Indiana?

What is the camper-to-counselor ratio?

The ratio varies based on day camps, overnight camps, and the age range of campers. Please contact [email protected] with questions.

How old are the counselors, and how are they trained?

We are proud of our amazing camp staff, which often features international students! Camp counselors are 18+ and go through extensive training with Girl Scouts staff members.

What accommodations are made for campers with special needs?

Does Girl Scouts of Central Indiana provide lunch and snacks, or do families need to provide them?

The meal and snack policies vary based on day camps, overnight camps, and the age range of campers. Please contact [email protected] with questions.

Camp Dellwood is excited to partner with Wayne Township for meals! Wayne Township will provide breakfast and lunch free of charge to our campers each day. If your camper chooses not to participate in the free meal program, they will need to provide their own lunch each day at camp. Please plan ahead and include your child’s lunch in an insulated lunch box if possible. They will eat their lunch with their group.
