Witch Way Road Trip: The Children’s Museum Guild’s Haunted House

Pack your bags and buckle up—it’s time for the Witch Way Road Trip, The Children’s Museum Guild’s 60th Annual Haunted House, open Oct. 10–31!

A relaxing stay on Boneyard Beach awaits. But Route 60, the path to the West Coast, comes with plenty of bumps in the road. Will you make it?

You’ll start your journey on Eerie Avenue, merging onto the Hazardous Highway (watch out for that semitruck!) before stopping to fuel up at Ghastly Gas Station. Are those fingers on the hot dog roller?

Remember your amazing trip by taking souvenir photos at Eyesore Attractions. After a busy day, get some rest at the Bug and Breakfast Motel. It seems peaceful, right? Well, maybe not. Consider pitching a tent at Rotting Corpse Campground instead.

You just have to make it past Scary Stables, the Dead End Diner (don’t order today’s special!), Decomposing Desert, and Sinister Seawalk before reaching Boneyard Beach . . . which may not be as tranquil as you’d hope.

Ready to hit the road? Both Hays + Sons Friendly Hours (for those who scare easily) and AAA Frightening Hours (for those who dare to be scared) are available. Start planning your trip and purchase tickets ($9 nonmembers, $8 members) at childrensmuseum.org/haunted-house.

Organized by The Children’s Museum Guild, the 60th Annual Haunted House, Witch Way Road Trip, is presented by Old National Bank.
