White River State Park Nominated as Best City Park Contender by USA Today

Voters have until February 15th to cast daily vote

White River State Park (WRSP) has been nominated by USA Today as a top contender for Best City Park in its 2021 10 Best Readers’ Choice Travel Awards. Winners will be announced on Feb. 26th.

USA Today 10 Best is a highly regarded and trusted source for travel and leisure recommendations. This year’s 10 Best Reader’s Choice Contest gives readers from across the nation an opportunity to vote for their favorite parks. Voters can vote each day, one time per day through Monday, Feb. 15th.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be considered in this year’s contest for Best City Park,” said Carolene Mays-Medley, executive director of White River State Park Development Commission. “We continue to strive towards making White River State Park one that feels like home for everyone. From our events and concerts, to our attractions, to our lovely greenspaces and waterways, we hope that everyone is able to find something that meets his or her interests.”

The contest is now open and votes can be cast by visiting https://www.10best.com/awards/travel/best-city-park-2020/. Each person can cast one vote per day through Feb. 15.
