Visit with Adoptable Cats at Pawz Pet Cafe in Carmel

Calling all kitty lovers: Carmel has its first cat cafe! Pawz Pet Cafe is the purrr-fect place to meet and play with cats in a relaxing setting, with an added bonus: they also serve boba and other tasty beverages inside their cozy cafe.

Play with Cats and Kittens at Pawz Pet Cafe

All of the cats and kittens that live at Pawz are adoptable, and you can reserve a time to visit them. The cats come from Paws on my Heart, Inc., a no-kill cat rescue that takes in cats from many different counties around Indiana.

The cats’ living area is a fun, colorful and spacious area. There is lots of room to spread out on the floor at their level, or sit on the couch, or just wander around and peek at the cats doing their own thing. There are toys everywhere in the kitty sanctuary for the cats who are feeling frisky and want to play.

Adopting A Forever Friend

Some people visit Pawz Pet Cafe just for the kitty cuddles. But if you’re interested in adopting a cat, there’s a binder on a table with information about each cat that you can peruse through. You can also speak to one of the friendly people who are in the sanctuary, and they are happy to answer questions. All of the cats at Pawz are looking for their forever homes and are ready to be adopted.

Whether you decide to adopt or not, you’re helping cats when you visit the cat cafe. Each entry fee contributes to the care and welfare of the cats, from veterinary care to cozy living arrangements.

Relax at the Beverage Bar

After you’ve visited the cat sanctuary, pop over to the Pawz beverage bar to get a refreshing boba drink, made with either tea, milk or lemonade. Their most popular drink, the Fireworks Fizzie, is like an Italian soda with strawberry popping boba. It’s a refreshing treat that you can enjoy in the lounge outside of the cat sanctuary.
