From old-fashioned street fairs to full-blown festivals, there are so many fun events to choose from this summer in Hamilton County

Family Fun Fair at the Hamilton County Sports Complex

This fun event is an opportunity for families to learn more about programs at Hamilton County Sports Complex while having a blast.  Be sure to visit all the local vendor booths and enjoy all the fair foods. There will be giveaways, free games and activities for all ages and much, much more!

Arcadia May Festival

Enjoy live entertainment, food, a car show and carnival rides at this growing festival. See website for more information.

Return of the Mac

Get ready to sample cheesy creations from over 20 restaurants & chefs from Hamilton County and Indianapolis. Come early for the Farmers Market and stay late for the free 16 Candles concert taking place inside the park. The event is open to fans of all ages.

Curiosity Fair

Children of all ages and their families are invited to play, create and investigate the mysteries of the world around them! Learn about drones and making video games, explore 3D printing, discover the art and sport of rhythmic gymnastics, use an atlatl to throw a spear and discover the science behind pitching a baseball. Through a series of activities, presentations and hands-on demonstrations, the whole family will be encouraged to ask questions, share knowledge and ignite the urge to discover. Scheduled to appear over the weekend are community representatives from the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers, Indianapolis Indians, Indy Fuel and Indy Eleven.

Annual Fishers Freedom Festival

This multi-day festival offering fine arts & crafts, food & business vendors, live music, a 5K event, children’s tent, parades, street dance, fireworks and much more. NEW this year: Festival hosts invite the JamBox Band at the Amphitheater in the Nickel Plate District. See the entire festival schedule.

CarmelFest

A family-friendly celebration of our country’s birth through entertainment, live music, a 5K run/walk, parade and kids zone. The spectacular Carmel Symphony will also perform on one of the 3 entertainment stages. This event ends with a spectacular fireworks display.

Location: CarmelFest is located at Civic Square, Southwest of S. Range Line Road and North of Carmel Drive.

Eighth Annual IU Health North Hospital Art of Wine

Guests of all ages can enjoy the unique stores, galleries, and music for free, as there is no cost to enter the District. For adults who wish to sample wines, photo ID is required and unlimited wine tastings from participating wineries are just $20. Entertainment and art can be found throughout the festival, including a caricature artist, and music. In addition to participating Indiana wineries, wine specialty retailers will offer tastings of wines from across the country.

Hamilton County 4-H Fair

The Hamilton County 4-H Fair is fun for the whole family, featuring numerous open events for all ages as well as the large variety of 4-H events and shows. Animals, livestock, foods, clothing, crafts, tractors, horticulture, dancing, and the talent show are just a few of the highlights. See website for schedule of events.

GreekFest

The Indianapolis Greek Festival is an annual family-oriented, festival celebrating the Orthodox faith and Hellenic culture with the community.
