Pirates and Princesses appears at Children’s Museum

Answering “All of the Above” to a multiple choice question, is the response my four-year-old daughter {Blonde Bomber} will likely give every time.
The morning I told her we were going to the Pirates and Princess exhibit at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, I asked her if she wanted to dress up like a pirate or a princess. This is the outfit she chose…

Ok, so we were going to the museum dressed as choice C, a Pirate Princess. Perfect.
As we walked into the exhibit, she posed as cutouts of both a princess and a pirate. She made a pretty good pirate face…

but her Zoolander inspired Blue Steel princess face was perfect.

Once inside the exhibit, we were greeted by a museum princess welcoming everyone. There were lots of cool things for Blonde Bomber to do while inside.

We shot cannons from the pirate ship…

Sat in the royal throne…

and, my favorite part of the exhibit, played the interactive “slay the dragon” game.
pp3My daughter really enjoyed all the “princess stuff” inside the exhibit. We spent probably an hour total in the exhibit before moving on to other favorites like Playscape and The Chocolate Slide. There were many opportunities to dress up, a few hidden treasures to be found, and lots of other things to entertain young pirates and princesses.
See you at the museum!
