Out and About: Noblesville, IN

Happy National Dog Day! There’s a special place in my heart for our furry friends, especially rescue dogs. My own sweet but crazy Weimaraner, Sadie was once in a shelter before she became apart of our family. We’re so glad she found her forever home with us! She is truly (wo)man’s best friend.

To spread the puppy love, I’m excited to partner with the Humane Society for Hamilton County to share with you a couple of dogs who desperately need to find their forever families. Please consider opening your heart and home!

Meet almost 9-year-old Tammy. Her story will tug on the heartstrings!

Tammy and her brother, Timmy were dropped off at the shelter due to their owner moving. As a senior dog who’s lived in a home her entire life until now, the shelter is a scary place to be.  A Lab/Retriever mix, Tammy is the sweetest girl, well behaved, quiet and knows basic commands. She may be a senior dog but she is full of energy and has a long life yet to live! Tammy shouldn’t be spending her senior years in the shelter, but rather cuddled up with a family who will love her.

Tammy would make the perfect family dog with children aged 10 and older. Her adoption fee is just $55. Her brother Timmy is currently being treated for heartworm, but as soon as he’s been cleared, he’ll be up for adoption as well. Please consider welcoming this sweet girl into your home.

Miss 3-year-old Nebula sure loves to smooch!

Nebula is a sweet, stocky lady who loves to cuddle. In fact, she thinks she’s a lap dog! She has had puppies in the past and was brought into the shelter as a stray. Nebula would do best in a home with kids 12 and older who can handle her sturdy and playful affection. She is sure to love you forever! For just $90, you can get Nebula out of the shelter and into the home she deserves.
