October Festivals in Hamilton County

September ushered in the beginning of Fall Festival season, and October keeps the family-friendly fall fun coming! From a celebration of the Golden Age to time-honored harvest festivals, take your pick from this list of festivals taking place this month.

 

 

Grand Junction Derby

Head to Westfield’s most unique event of the year. Watch as families, organizations and businesses race soap box cars in Downtown Westfield.

Date: October 7, 3-5 pm
Location: Downtown Westfield

Indiana Renaissance Faire

Experience the Golden Age of Queen Elizabeth I at 13th annual Indiana Renaissance Faire (formerly Fishers Renaissance Faire). There will be over 250 costumed characters, jousting by the Knights of Valour, period music and dance, Shakespeare vignettes, roving comedy, swordplay, knighting ceremonies, parades, and over 70 artisans and merchants, many food vendors, and free kid’s games. Tickets $14/adults; $5/kids. Family pricing available.

Dates: October 7-8, 10 am-6 pm.

Christmas in October Craft Fair

Browse the works of more than 150 juried arts and crafters. This is a great place to find quality items at great prices – just in time to get a jump on your holiday shopping!

Date: October 14, 9 am-3 pm
Location: Fishers High School

Harvest Festival at Stuckey Farm

Each weekend of the festival features a new theme, so you can return again and again. A basic ticket includes free parking, wagon rides throughout the farm, and Adventure Acres, which has a 60-foot slide, pedal cars, a barrel train, kid’s size games and maze, and much more.

Stonycreek Farm Pumpkin Harvest Festival

Enjoy delicious food and entertainment like the pumpkin train, giant jumping pillow, pedal cars and hayrides at this fall-themed festival. Most activities require tickets to participate.
