Natural Valley Ranch in Brownsburg is a gem. The 78-acre ranch that runs along White Lick Creek is one of the largest places in Hendricks County for horseback riding. The family-owned ranch hosts horseback rides, riding lessons, seasonal camps and family-friendly events throughout the year.
But there’s much more to Natural Valley Ranch than horses. Families can easily spend several hours or even a full day at the ranch meeting animals, exploring the property and enjoying time outdoors together.

Visit with Animals
The ranch features an animal interaction area where visitors can meet a variety of farm animals including miniature goats, chickens, ducks, miniature horses, ponies, cats and dogs. Guests can walk through the animal areas and interact with the animals while learning about farm life.
The ranch welcomes snacks for the animals such as stale bread, cookies, fruits and vegetables that are past their prime. A small suggested donation of about $2 per person helps support the animal interaction area. Animal visits are typically available on weekends and select weekday hours depending on staffing and weather.
