National FLOW Tour Competition Set for July 25

Surf’s up in Carmel, Indiana, as the FLOW Tour Competition makes a stop on the national circuit at The Waterpark onFLOW Tour Saturday, July 25, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation continues to bring fun and adventure to the community by bringing the California surfing experience to the Midwest through use of the FlowRider®, the only one of its kind in Indiana.

Pre-registered participants are invited to an exclusive Friday night “Open Training Session” starting at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 8 a.m. to get ready for the competition. In addition, a “Celebrity FlowRider Challenge” will be offered prior to the Friday evening training session from 5 to 7. Participants in the challenge will vie for bragging rights and a $250 donation to their favorite charity.

Also new this year to the National FLOW Tour is a competition for flow boarders with disabilities. The Adaptive Competition takes place between 9:15 to 10 a.m. on July 25 where participants will compete for a medal during this national tour! The award ceremony will be at 11:30 a.m. for the adaptive riders. Carbon, one of the event sponsors, will be donating boards to this group for the Adaptive FlowRider®programs held throughout the summers.

With 30 mph rushing waves hitting your face and the feeling of surfing in the Pacific, thrill seekers are anxiously awaiting a time to show off their skills. Whether professional or amateur, join us for the day and compete against fellow FlowRider® enthusiasts with the chance of winning prizes, money, or medals to the top finishers. Competitors may register and compete in up to two categories/style.
