Lawrence North High School boasts robust extracurricular opportunities available to all students. Lawrence North offers participation in all IHSAA sanctioned sports and some additional club sports, including Lacrosse and swimming. Lawrence North has a nationally ranked marching band in our Marching Pride of Lawrence Township as well as numerous choral, orchestral, dance, and other performing art ensembles/teams. Through these extracurricular activities students gain valuable experience that they carry with them through high school, college, and beyond.
In addition to our award winning performing arts and athletics programs, Lawrence North offers numerous opportunities for students to be involved in the school community. The COVID-19 pandemic has placed unprecedented stressors and restrictions on schools across the country. Through all of this uncertainty, we will remain devoted to our values and our mission of educating all students through innovation and dedication. The district has implemented enhanced cleaning protocols, mandated the wearing of masks, enforced social distancing, and restricted school visitors to help protect students and staff. Students at the secondary level are currently operating a hybrid model per the Marion County Public Health Department, with no more 50% of the student body on campus at any given time.
