Our mission is to provide a safe and encouraging environment where children develop healthy habits while engaging in individualized activities designed to support success at any age, skill, or level of ability. Your camper will enjoy a wide variety of activities, games, sports, crafts and more. Additionally, each camper receives swim lessons Monday-Thursday at the world-famous IU Natatorium.

What makes Jaguar Summer Day Camp unique?

Swim lessons are included at no additional cost with all of our camps. Swimming is a life skill everyone should have, and we’re proud to offer lessons four times per week to each camper. Each week will feature different activities and enrichments as well as a field trip or special guest.

What activities are offered at Jaguar Summer Day Camp?

We offer traditional day camp activities along with great enrichments such as Amazing Athletes, Crouching Tigers, Junior Chef, Survivor, and more.

What is the camper-to-counselor ratio?

  • 5 & 6 – 1:5
  • 7 & 8 – 1:8
  • 9-12 – 1:10

How much time do the campers spend outside?

We are outside as often as we can, weather permitting.

Does Jaguar Summer Day Camp provide lunch/snacks or do parents need to provide them?

Campers need to bring a non-perishable lunch with them each day. We provide two snacks each day.

How old are the counselors and how are they trained?

All Jaguar Summer Day Camp counselors are over the age of 16, and have been screened through a background and criminal history check. They receive more than 20 hours of camp training before starting camp, and they are all certified in CPR and First Aid.

What accommodations are made for campers with special needs?

We are committed to being an inclusive camp, and are happy to make reasonable modifications that we can support on a case-by-case basis.
