Spring has sprung, and we know as the temperatures heat up, playgrounds are the spot to be! With more than 130 playgrounds around the city, kids can play, get exercise, meet new friends and enjoy all that the outdoors has to offer.
This year, you may notice some construction on our playgrounds. Through the American Rescue Plan Act, $16.7 million is going toward 27 playground renovations in 26 different parks. After public meetings, the design teams came up with exciting new concepts for each park to fit the community’s needs. The parks included are:
- Bluff
- Brookside Memorial Grove
