Indianapolis Halloween candy buyback programs

Halloween is the best but there is one big challenge that comes with this spooky holiday: Figuring out what to do with all of the leftover candy. I’ve had those years when you think 4 jumbo bags will be enough and still send my husband to the store because we’ve gone through it in 30 minutes. But inevitably, you end up with too much whether from your own stash or your trick-or-treater’s.

Indianapolis Candy Buyback Programs

Visit Halloween Candy Buy Back to find your closest location. Buybacks are held at local businesses traditionally but not limited to dental offices. The goal is to remove excess Halloween candy from kids which is then donated to support our troops. Participants buyback Halloween candy at a scheduled event, in exchange for cash, coupons, discounts on services, etc. Sometimes they also partner with local businesses to give away coupons for food, goods, etc. Each location offers something a little different in exchange.

Leftover Halloween Candy Cookie Pizza

Ingredients:

  • NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Halloween chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 1/4 c peanut butter
  • 3/4 c NESTLÉ® Milk Chocolate Morsels
  • Candy bars of your choice
  • Candy eyes and Halloween sprinkles {optional}

Let the cookie dough sit out of the fridge for a half hour. Spread out cookie dough on a pizza pan being sure to use cookie spray on the pan. Bake according to directions on packaging. I used the shortest amount of time to start and kept an eye until it was the perfect golden brown.

While the cookie is warm out of the oven, dollop the peanut butter and sprinkle the chocolate morsels evenly.

Smear the two together to make the ‘pizza sauce.’ If you’re a fan of peanut butter, switch the ratio of chocolate to peanut butter.
