Immaculate Heart of Mary Fall Kick-Off Fest 2015

Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM), a parish on the north side of Indianapolis, will host its seventh annual IHM Neighborhood Fall Kick-Off Fest on August 29 from 4-11 p.m. in the IHM parking lot, located at 5692 Central Ave., Indianapolis, 46220. Open to the public, around 2,000-3,000 attendees are expected.

The festival will feature local food and drink vendors such as Fat Dan’s, Mama Carolla’s, Sam’s Gyros, Brugge, Flying Cupcake, a beer garden hosted by Monarch Beverage Company, wine, Flat12 craft beer and more. There will be live music including the Dugan Brothers Band and headliner Greta Speaks. Attendees can purchase a kid’s wristband ($10 for children ages 6 and under; $15 for children ages 7 and up) that allows them to enter the Kid Zone with inflatables, a dunk tank, a cake walk, kids’ games and more. Admission is $1 per person for attendees 21 and older, and all proceeds go directly to the parish. Attendees under 21 get in free.

In celebration of the Fall Kick-Off Fest, IHM will host the 6th Annual 5K Run/Walk, sponsored by The National Bank of Indianapolis, at 9 a.m. on the day of the festival. Participants can pre-register online before Friday, August 28 for $15 per person or $50 for families (4-6 members) on IHM’s website. Race day registration is $20 and begins at 8 a.m. Children ages 6 and younger can participate for free. All participants will receive a race t-shirt.
