How to Help Hurricane Harvey Victims

The images pouring out of Houston, Texas, in the wake of Hurricane Harvey are devastating – and the damage is expected to increase throughout the week. When disaster strikes in such a massive way in such a short amount of time, it can be difficult to know exactly how to help. Below we have compiled a list of organizations where your donations will go a long way:

Texas Diaper Bank

The Texas Diaper Bank is ensuring the thousands of misplaced families impacted by Hurricane Harvey have the diapers they need. Click here to make a cash donation.

The American Red Cross

The Salvation Army

Austin Pets Alive

This Austin, Texas-based shelter has already taken in nearly 350 shelter animals from flood-stricken areas, and they estimate another 50-100 animals will be coming their way. Click here to donate funds to help this no-kill shelter care for these additional animals.

Save the Children

Save the Children’s emergency response team is on the ground in San Antonio, Texas, working to specifically to meet the immediate needs of children and families affected by the storm. Click here to donate.

Blood donation centers
