WonderLab Museum’s vision is to “build curious and creative problem solvers, inspired by the wonder of science!” Its two-story facility in downtown Bloomington is home to a wide variety of hands-on activities and special educational programs.
The traveling exhibition Run! Jump! Fly! Adventures in Action™ opened this fall and continues at WonderLab through January 16. Designed and constructed by the Minnesota Children’s Museum, this exhibition combats childhood inertia by allowing visitors to explore activities that build strength, coordination, balance and endurance. Activity stations invite participants to try out kung fu, surfing, snowboarding, yoga horizontal climbing, and other physical activities.

WonderLab’s second floor is home to some interesting creatures, including a bearded dragon, a skink, a variety of snakes and a working beehive. The shows will take place on both Saturday and Sunday at 1:30 and 3 p.m. Tickets are $4 for members / $5 for non-members (plus museum admission) and will be available at the door on a first-come, first-served basis.
