Located just an hour from downtown Indianapolis, Hidden Paradise Campground offers a family-friendly environment to experience the region’s natural beauty. Visitors can enjoy quarry swimming in the spring-fed “Dream Lake,” a 20-foot-deep lake surrounded by towering limestone cliffs.
Quarry Swimming and Inflatable Fun
The campground features a designated swimming area complete with inflatable fun, such as a floating trampoline, obstacle course, jumping platform, and slide. Additionally, Hidden Paradise provides a large dock and open swimming areas, with no cliff jumping allowed for safety reasons. Paddleboats are available for hourly rental, and life vests are required for all guests. Life vests can be brought from home or borrowed for free as part of the admission price.
Quarry Day Pass Rates for Non-Campers
Day passes for Quarry Swimming are available for non-campers at the following rates:
- Free for children under 4 years of age
- $10.00 for children aged 4-12 years
- $15.00 for individuals aged 13 and up
Flat Rock River Activities
Guests can also explore the Flat Rock River along the campground’s north side. Kayaks and canoes are available for rent, and visitors are welcome to bring their own equipment, including tubes. The shallow waters are perfect for creek stomping, and many regulars enjoy river fishing.
Overnight Camping and Cabin Rentals
The 80-acre, family-owned campground offers dog-friendly overnight camping, 168 wooded sites with water and electricity for RV and tent camping, and six cabin rentals for those seeking a more comfortable experience. The campground positions the sites away from road noise, and they feature beautiful views of the Flat Rock River. Additionally, tent camper should be prepared for unregulated sites with potential noise from neighboring campers.

Hidden Paradise is always bustling with activity, hosting events such as live music, karaoke, chili cook-offs, fishing derbies, and campsite decorating contests. Facilities include a well-stocked camp store, bathrooms and showers, a snack shack, playground, and picnic area.
