Six weekly sessions of learning and fun! Our camp fosters discovery, appreciation of the arts, and personal growth. Highlighting Indiana and African American history and culture, campers will develop a stronger sense of purpose, while learning about themselves and their community. Each week ends with a performance showcase of the activities.

What makes your camp unique?
Our summer camp is designed to provide our campers with 21st century life skills to succeed by instilling a connection to history, a sense of community, and a desire for personal enrichment.
What activities are offered at your camp?
Activities Included: academic enrichment (math/language arts/social studies), arts and crafts, theater, hands-on activities, manners and etiquette lessons, team building, chess, weekly field trips.
What is the camper-to-counselor ratio?
The ratio for most activities is 1:12.
How much time do the campers spend outside?
Weather permitting, our campers will spend 60 – 90 minutes outdoors. There is a morning break (20 minutes), recess (45 minutes), and an afternoon break (20 minutes).
Does the camp provide lunch/snacks or do parents need to provide them?
Unless your child has food allergies or needs to follow a specific diet, lunches and a morning/afternoon snack will be provided.

How old are the counselors and how are they trained?
Our lead instructors are active/retired educators with years of professional experience. Classes are co-facilitated with our junior instructors, who are former campers themselves, are high school/college age students.
