FREE Family Fun at the IU Health Indy Crit Bike Fest

WHEN: Saturday, July 14, 2018, 9 a.m. – 7:15 p.m. FREE ADMISSION. Experience FREE family fun at the IU Health Indy Crit Bike Fest in the heart of Downtown Indianapolis on Saturday, July 14th!

WHERE: Monument Circle, 1 Monument Circle, Indianapolis, IN 46204

DETAILS:  Kids, families, and bicycle enthusiasts can enjoy an entire day of bicycling and free health and fitness activities at the 9thannual IU Health Indy Crit Bike Fest.  Start off your day with the PNC Family Fun Ride at 9:15am. This free community ride begins with a 1-mile parade lap on closed city streets and then continues for a leisurely 3.5-mile bicycle tour of downtown Indianapolis on the Indianapolis Cultural Trail.

 

From 10am-4pm, kids can choose their own adventure in the PNC Kids Zone! The PNC Kids Zone combines bicycling activities, physical fitness, arts and crafts, and health education in a variety of family-fun, outdoor activities. Pedal, jump, climb and play all while learning how to stay happy, healthy and safe. Upon entering the PNC Kids Zone, kids will choose their own adventure by navigating through fun, interactive stations all while collecting stamps on their PNC Kids Zone passport. Upon filling up their passport, kids will earn a free bicycle helmet provided by the CIBA Foundation!

And be sure not to miss the PNC Kids Bike Races at 1:55pm! Children ages 3-9 will LOVE riding their bicycles down Meridian Street to Monument Circle in front of thousands of cheering spectators!

 

The Kids Zone and Kids Races are free but be sure to REGISTER in advance to expedite your check-in at the event.
