Eight of the top ice carvers from around the Midwest will bring their tools and talents to Carmel on January 21-22, 2023 for a weekend of ice carving competitions and demonstrations. Festival of Ice, presented by the City of Carmel, will feature lots of fun for families during this free event on Saturday and Sunday at two locations.
Saturday’s festivities feature carving demonstrations by professional ice carvers in the Arts & Design District from 4-7 p.m. There will be eight locations on Main Street for spectators to see the ice carvings, from Woody’s Library Restaurant to Bub’s Burgers & Ice Cream. Spectators are welcome to take photos (they serve as great backdrops for selfies) and chat with the carvers.
