On October 11, families can enjoy spooky fun and jumpstart the Halloween season with Family Night Out: Family Fright Night at the Indiana State Museum.
Families are invited to dress in their Halloween best for a night of spooktacular fun. Attendees can help a mad scientist conduct experiments, learn about monsters that may call Indiana home, create light-up ghosts, enjoy a “spiderpult” catapult and more. Activities will take place in the Great Hall and on the third floor.
The museum’s newest exhibit, A•MAZE•D: The Puzzling World of Dave Phillips, will feature a spookified cardboard maze and spooky stories. A costume contest will also take place, with prizes awarded for spookiest costume, best homemade costume and best Indiana connection costume.
