Continuing through Sept. 1, 2025, Amazing Pollinators is presented by Corteva Agriscience. It was created by Minotaur Mazes, a worldwide leader in interactive educational maze exhibits, in collaboration with the Florida Museum of Natural History and the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation.

Designed to spark interest in the natural world, Amazing Pollinators encourages at-home observation of plants and pollinators, and inspires visitors of all ages to learn more about science and nature. The centerpiece of this interactive, bilingual (English and Spanish) experience is a vibrant, playable maze where visitors will step into the wings of various pollinators and complete fun challenges that show the relationship these important species have within the ecosystem.

In the maze, visitors take on survival missions from eight different pollinator groups, including bats, bees, beetles, birds, butterflies, moths, flies and wasps. There are six missions for each group that increase in complexity and difficulty, putting players in the shoes of different species like the hibiscus bee, soldier beetle, or ruby-throated hummingbird.

To succeed, players have to think like a pollinator and navigate the many challenges these species face on a daily basis. If players manage to survive the missions, visitors will earn exclusive titles and reveal fun facts about everything from the ways pollinators support our ecosystems and the vital role they play in the food supply to some rather bizarre relationships between plants and pollinators. Visitors will also learn simple ways they can help pollinator species at home and in the community.

At the game parlor, visitors can play classic games with a twist, like mason bee mancala, invasive species shuffleboard, mutualism dominoes and more. Younger children will also enjoy the Maze Flower Quest where they can choose a pollinator and fly it to its target flower in the maze.
