Zionsville Paint Out

Experience the charm of open-air painting at the 22nd Annual Zionsville Paint Out on Saturday, August 3, 2024. Hosted by the SullivanMunce Cultural Center in partnership with the Indiana Plein Air Painters Association (IPAPA), this event invites artists of all ages and skill levels to capture the beauty of Zionsville en plein air.

Location: Artists must register and check in between 7 AM and 10 AM at the SullivanMunce Cultural Center on the day of the event. The event will proceed rain or shine.

Registration: Free for members of SullivanMunce Cultural Center, IPAPA, and children 17 and under. A $25 fee applies for non-members.

Participants will use their own supplies to create original artworks across Zionsville. Canvasses and multimedia supplies for adults and teens, as well as specific materials for youth (ages 7-11), will be stamped or tagged before painting commences. Teens (ages 12-17) may bring their own supplies, which must be stamped.

All artworks completed and submitted by 2 PM will be judged and available for sale immediately following the awards ceremony at the SullivanMunce Cultural Center. Prizes await 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in professional, adult amateur, youth, and teen categories. The top professional artist will also see their name added to the prestigious Cynthia Van Tassel Yeo Plein Air Award plaque.
