Wildflower Weekend

Wildflower Weekend returns to Eagle Creek Park with a full weekend of naturalist-led hikes and public programs for all ages focused on spring wildflowers, wildlife, and outdoor discovery. Families can join guided hikes, hands-on nature programs, and educational activities while exploring the park’s trails and learning more about wildflower diversity. Visitors can also contribute observations to citizen science during the weekend.

Along with guided programs, families can enjoy a self-guided wildflower hike on the Pin Oak loop trail, visit the Earth Discovery Center and Ornithology Center during open hours, and take part in weekend extras like coloring sheets and scavenger hunts. Park admission is $6 for in-county residents and $8 for out-of-county residents, and minors must be accompanied by an adult.
