Bike riders of all ages and skill levels are invited to participate in the first annual “Tour De Quaker” Bicycle and Trail Ride. The event is presented by the Plainfield Police Department Bike Unit and will take place on Saturday, May 20, 2023.
To ensure readiness for the ride, participants are encouraged to gather their family, find their helmets, air up their tires, and take their bicycles into their local Plainfield Gear Up Cyclery. The event will feature three different rides with PPD bike officers and a bicycle safety course for children at Hummel Park before the rides.
The first annual Tour De Quaker Bicycle and Trail Ride will begin in the parking lot of the East side of Hummel Park located at 1500 S. Center Street. Come early to visit the CCFS booth, the children’s bicycle safety course, and Gear up Cyclery will be in attendance to help with your Spring bike maintenance.
Tour de Quaker Schedule:
9:00 AM:
Visit Cops Cycling of Survivors Booth, Gear up Cyclery, children’s bicycle safety course.
10:00 AM:
Jr. Tour Ride: 1-Mile, Easy ride around the Hummel Park track
Family Tour Ride: 5-Mile, Leisure ride of Plainfield trails
Pro Tour Ride: 10-Mile, Trails of Plainfield.
