Families can explore a school for monsters and villains at Fright Academy, The Children’s Museum Guild’s 62nd annual Haunted House. A haunted library, ghastly cafeteria meals and a hallway spiderweb are part of this year’s school-themed experience.
Friendly Hours are recommended for children who scare easily, with brighter lights, upbeat music, friendly greeters, goodies and treats. Frightening Hours turn up the scares with dimmed lights, scary music, jump scares and haunters wearing scary masks.
Tickets are on sale now. Admission is $9 for nonmembers, $8 for members and $5 with Access Pass.

- Additional Wednesday Friendly Hours: 3:30–6:30 p.m.
- Friendly Hours, Sundays: Noon–5 p.m.
- Frightening Hours, Thursdays–Saturdays: 4–9 p.m. No Frightening Hours on Friday, October 9, or Halloween.
