As part of the “Get Mooned in Boone” event series by Boone County Conventions and Visitor’s Bureau, Solar Jam is a can’t-miss occasion. This spectacle coincides with a significant moment for Boone County—witnessing the path of totality of a solar eclipse for the first time in 819 years.

Scheduled for Monday, April 8, from 1:30-4:30 p.m., Solar Jam promises a lively setting at Main Street Park featuring a concert, local sponsors, and food trucks. This unique gathering lets attendees immerse in the momentous solar eclipse of 2024. Stay tuned for further updates!
Parking at the venue is limited. Attendees should consider bringing a blanket or lawn chairs for comfort. Note that personal pop-up tents, canopies, and outside alcohol are not permitted. In the event of adverse weather, patrons are advised to retreat to their vehicles.
